Volunteer Driver Program

Purpose:	This program provides transportation to medical appointments for anyone age 60 or over who lives in their own home and is unable to get to their appointments on their own. Persons with disabilities may use this program when approved by the Senior Service director. Individuals on Medical Assistance may use this program if approved by Social Services.
What:	Volunteers using their own vehicles pick up participants at their home, take them to their appointments, and return them to their home. The drivers are reimbursed for their mileage, however, they donate their time.
